Edinburgh Doors Open Days Programme now available
The Edinburgh Doors Open Days programme for 23 / 24 September has now been published. A total of 135 venues will be open to the public at some point over the weekend, including the Vennel Churchyard in South Queensferry on Sunday 24 September from 10.00-16.00.
Visit to Thomas Thomson House (National Records of Scotland)
A visit to Thomas Thomson House, Sighthill has been organised from 14.00 – 16.00 on Thursday 26th October 2017.
Thomas Thomson House was designed to provide space for the National Archives of Scotland until the mid 21st century. It provides over 37 kilometres of environmentally controlled record storage, and also houses records reception and sorting areas, staff offices, a purpose-built conservation unit and digital imaging facilities.
The building is not normally open to the public and we are limited to a maximum of 15 people. Please contact Clare at [email protected] if you would like to attend.
